Please submit articles by the deadline to Newsletter@AsiaPacificCDA.org  If you are planning to write about a topic, you may also use this email address to ask the Newsletter Editor for prior approval for a topic or other questions you may have.

We love to receive articles about career planning from any country in the Asia Pacific region. Articles can be as short as one paragraph or as long as several pages, although most are 3 to 4 paragraphs in length. Please include a photo of the author.  It is not necessary to be a member.

You can quote a newsletter in a formal research report using this format:

Asia Pacific Career Development Association [APCDA]. ([insert year article was published]). Newsletter. Retrieved [insert today’s date], from http://www.asiapacificcda.org/[insert page number from the URL of the newsletter]

    The Career Development Association of Australia will hold its annual conference in Hobart on May 2-4, 2018.  The Conference theme in 2018 is: Inspiring Excellence in Career Development: 2020 Vision - Career Adaptability and Meaningful Futures.  Abstracts are due by Oct 27, 2017.  Click here for instructions to submit an abstract.

    The 37th NAGCAS Annual Conference “Inspiring evidence based practice: maximising employability” reflects the importance of Employability and delivering services that are needs based and outcomes focused in a competitive environment.

    The Conference will be hosted at UTS Aerial Function Centre from Tuesday the 28th of November to Thursday the 30th of November.

    Join career and employability professionals from across Australia and the world, and be inspired by powerful thought leaders like Christine Cruzvergara, Peter McIlveen, Dr Nalayini Thambar, Martin Smith, and many more!

    This Conference will provide many opportunities to:

    • hear from and interact with international, national and local experts

    It is anticipated that the 2017 NAGCAS Conference will attract close to 200 local, national and international delegates, from University and TAFE sectors, industry, government, local education providers and high schools.
