APCDA welcomes all people working in the field of career development or career planning anywhere in the world. Please join us and help us advance this important service to society. Our goal is to share ideas and techniques among areas/regions and among cultures. Whatever your background or special areas of concern, we are happy to have you join us.

There are five types of members. Membership dues for the first four types are based on the area where you live:
- Student/Retired Member: A person studying in a full-time career development or related program or retired from work in the sector but still interested in retaining membership
- Regular Member: A person employed in the field of career development, for example as a counselor, teacher, advisor, coach, consultant, trainer, etc.
- Organization Member: A person representing an association, company, or institution that provides career planning services or represents career development professionals in one of the Asia Pacific areas. Organization Members will be entitled to one free news announcement per year and a webpage that describes their services and activities and they will be able to control its contents. - Lifetime Members: A lifetime membership costs as much as 10 years of regular membership. Once you have paid, you never need to pay again.
Membership dues are listed in US Dollars and paid annually. For individual and organization members, the cost of these memberships is based on your area/region of residence. Please choose a category based on where you live:

Areas with a Gross National Income of $12,500 or above. Examples include: Australia, Canada, Hong Kong SAR of China, Japan, Korea, Macao SAR of China, New Zealand, Singapore, United States, and Taiwan.

Areas with a Gross National Income of less than $12,500.

Special Category
- $950 Legacy Partner Lifetime Member: A person who desires to make a lasting statement of support for APCDA. In return, APCDA will recognize this person in perpetuity. This member also never needs to renew. (Click here to see our list of Legacy Partner Lifetime Members.)
Scholarship Sponsor: Consider donating toward our membership and conference scholarship fund, which will be used to pay the cost of membership or attendance at the conference for those who cannot afford the fees.
Refund Policy: Membership fees are not refundable.
