APCDA holds a conference in a different country/region in the Asia Pacific region each year. The attendees represent Asian and Pacific countries and regions as well as other parts of the world. The conference provides opportunities for networking, sharing among practitioners, and identifying new resources. Breakout sessions are available for professionals who serve:
School Populations (K-12)
College Students
Employed or Job Seeking Adults
or conduct research on Career Issues
The audience will include career and school counselors, counselor educators, workforce development professionals, human resource professionals, and career development practitioners at all age levels and in all settings (school, college and university, government, military, business, agency, corrections, and private practice).
The conferences are held in English. Some assistance with translation will be provided, but delegates are encouraged to bring their own translators.
If you wish to host a future conference, please view our Conference Hosting Policy. Each year in April, the Board reviews hosting proposals for 3 years in the future.
