Insight Exchange
The Insight Exchange is a discussion group that focuses on a different selected topic at each meeting. Like a book-club, participants are expected to read or watch selected resources in advance of the event, such as webinars, journal articles, books, and reports. It is offered every other month and the preparator materials and discussion questions will be provided on this webpage. The number of participants is limited to 20 and the sessions are not recorded. Please do not register if you cannot attend in-person.
The Discussion Leader for Insight Exchange sessions will be Ruchira Tripathi. She is a management graduate and holds a Master of Human Resources and Industrial Relations. She is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator. Ruchira has extensive experience in regional talent acquisition across engineering, construction, information technology and government. She is currently self-employed as a career development practitioner at Career Quest. Ruchira has been a member of APCDA since 2020. She is based in Singapore.

The use of AI in career development has been a popular topic for APCDA webinars and conference sessions. In this meeting, the Insight Exchange participants will take in information from various sources to discuss how AI tools can be used in their own guidance practice. Below are some discussion prompts that may be brought up in the session:
- Innovative usage in career development activities
- Ethical and social considerations
- Prompt engineering challenges
At the end of meeting, the participants will be more informed on how fellow practitioners are using AI in their practice, get ideas on how they can further integrate AI in their own practice, and become aware of areas they need to navigate with care.
